Dringend gesuchte Roma-Sinti Familien im Vorfall Ost-Tirol Gemeinde Ainet

Vor wenigen Wochen schrieb ich einen Blog, über den progromartigen Vorfall mit rassistischen Parolen „Zigeuner raus“ und „euch G´sindl brauch ma do niet“, der sich in der Gemeinde Ainet in Ost-Tirol Anfang August, zugetragen hat.

Eine Gruppe Jugendlicher, die vermutlich stark alkoholisiert waren, attackierten französische Staatsbürger, die der kulturellen Minderheit der Manouches Sinti angehören. Die Familien waren genötigt unter Polizeischutz die Gemeinde zu verlassen und wurden zum neun Kilometer entfernten Hauptbahnhof Lienz eskortiert.

Dr. Josef Unterweger, Anwalt, hat Klage bei der Staatsanwaltschaft Innsbruck eingereicht.
Im telefonischen Gespräch sagt Rechtsanwalt Dr. Unterweger „es wird Konsequenzen geben“. Der örtliche Polizeivorsteher gibt an, dass keine Personendaten aufgenommen wurden, so Dr. Unterweger weiter, und man über den Verbleib der betroffenen Familien nichts wisse.

Es ist dringend Notwendig, die geschädigten Familien ausfindig zu machen und sie über Ihre Rechte zu informieren, wie auch die eingereichte Klage bei der Staatsanwaltschaft Innsbruck, dass rassistisch motivierte Vorfälle und Vandalismus wie diese und ähnliche unter keinen Umständen geduldet werden in Österreich.

Die Aussagen der Roma Familien beim Vorfall in Ost-Tirol in der Gemeinde Ainet können sowohl in jeder französischen Polizeibehörde oder Botschaft als auch österreichischen Polizei, getätigt werden wie auch durch direkte Kontaktaufnahme mit der Vertretung der Roma und Sinti Minderheiten „Romano-Centro“ in Wien, mit Frau Mag. Few weeks ago I wrote a blog about the pogrom-like mob-violence against Sinti that took place at the beginning of this August (2009) in the municipality of Ainet in East Tyrol. As reported there were cases of racist vandalism, with the slogans „gipsies get out“, and „we don´t need scum like you here“, but there was also assault. After a rock concert, a group of teenagers attacked (probably in alcoholised condition), French citizens who belong to the cultural minority of Manouches Sinti. The Families were forced to flee under police protection. The police had to escort them to the nine kilometres far away Mainstation in Lienz.

Lawyer Dr. Josef Unterweger has claimed that incident at the department of public prosecution in Innsbruck. Dr. Unterweger said in an interview that “there will be consequences”. The local chief of police declared that they did not take any personal data. The police has no information about the families’ current place of residence.

It is of the utmost importance to find the harmed families, to explain them their civil rights and to inform about the indictment of the racist attack. Furthermore one must be aware that racist vandalism is not tolerated in Austria in any way.
