Everyone has his own principles in this life and everyone wants to live as he wants, but it should be in a reasonable way without hurting anyone. And that’s what my friend and I will talk about. My name is Saba and my friend´s name is Kaltumo, we came from Syria and Somalia and both of these countries have a war. That happened because certain people are greedy for power. They want to be the ruler and have the authority. In politics many rulers do not work towards peace but towards instability. People will feel insecure and scared. Then their rulers lead them to hatred and war. I think this is happening everywhere in the world even in Europe and the United States – not only in our home-countries. I’m worried that this will lead to a third World War.

When we left our countries we were very sad because we knew that we might not see it for many years or maybe ever again. Many of our relatives are still there under fear and shelling guns and shooting. The war took everything we have had, our homes, our childhoods and the more important thing our parents. Many babies lost their parents, many parents lost their children and many people lost their jobs. Seven years in Syria and so many years in Somalia. Kaltumo lost her father and her world broke down.  We lost our dreams, our past and our future. They became unrealistic.

Our chance for a future is Austria and our new lives here. Austria gave us hope to start a new life and to make our future. Now we are going to a school in Herthergasse it´s a very good school with a very successful teachers and nice students. We are having Garman courses to adapt with our classmate. But there is a serious problem in the courses system that I cannot follow the math lessons with the others and I get out in the important subjects. I really hope it will change.
