Ich bemerkte wie die Leute unruhig waren und sich an ihren Taschen und Partnern festhielten. Merkwürdig, denn Bodrum ist keine Großstadt, wo man Angst haben muss, dass man überfallen wird. Zumindest dachte ich es so. Da ich nur gute Erinnerungen mitbrachte aus meinen früheren Urlauben.
Am zweiten Tag kamen wir wieder nach Mitternacht in unseer Hotel. Die Hotelbewohner standen vor dem Eingang. Polizeiwagen rückten nach kurzer Zeit an. Was war passiert? Ich näherte mich der Menschenmenge und versuchte herauszufinden, was da geschehen ist.
Das was ich sah, jagte mir Angst ein. Ein Mann Mitte 20 lag am Boden. 3 Jungs hielten ihn fest und verfluchten den am Boden liegenden. Mir war immer noch nicht bewusst, was geschehen ist. Dann erfuhr ich, dass der Mann am Boden - auf den immer noch eingeprügelt wurde - versucht hatte ein Mädchen vor dem Hotel zu vergewaltigen. Ja ihr habts richtig gelesen. Vor dem Hotel! Erst als der vor Ort anwesende Beamter sagte, dass es sich hierbei um eine Türkin handelte, sagten die an der anderen Leitung, sie solle doch vorbei kommen und Anzeige erstatten. ich frag mich noch heute, was wäre wenn es eine Touristin gewesen wäre?
Am dritten Tag versuchten alle im Hotel den Vorfall als ein Einzelfall zu bewerten. Aber dem war nicht so. So gegen 18 Uhr geniessten die Urlauber die Abendsonne und das Hotelpool, als wieder ein Hilferuf zu vernehmen war. Sofort eilten die jenigen Raus, die nicht im Pool waren. Die Frau blutete im Gesicht und weinte am Boden liegend. Sie wurde überfallen. Ihre Handtasche wurde ihr aus der Hand gerissen und weil sie nicht sofort losließ wurde auf sie eingeschlagen.
